Ride a Bicycle?? Post pics if you do!!!

Post by Devil Crx »

I'm looking into buying a bike. I'm just looking at some $300 hybrid from Sports authority. I can't afford to get anything too serious. I just need something that can handle ~275lbs and the occasional ride. I don't plan on participating in the MS 150 anytime soon.

Can someone explain the point of a fixie?

Edit: Nevermind. I reread the first page.

first day riding it.

i rode the hella outta it around downtown. very dangerous. no brakes and very new to a fixed gear..learning a fixie with a obstacle course of rams and cardinals traffic, i caught on really fast. i already feel pretty comfortable with it. even feel pretty comfortable without using a brake. its crazy bookin it down washington ave at nearly 20mph and thinking fuck. i really have no brakes. lol

i would of rode all night but i got a fooken piece of glass in my tire. >=(!! and i just gave a tube away yesterday!!

i use to always think. wtf.. why do people ride fixed gear. whats the point. and i could never get a legit stright answer. most would shrug their shoulders and say, 'idk, cuz i like it'.

this is why i like it.
its a different style of riding.
more challenging.
and you feel the bike more manually.

get your self a fixie. =)
