i was on the fence about updating this thread anymore...

i don't want this to turn into a flame/hate/negative thread... so just keep that in mind as i update this.

Remember this is MY car not yours... if you have something negative to say, take that drama and bull shit back to STLSR or whatever forum you frequent and post there... i will keep updating this and share what i can with anyone until this thread goes south.

Did CTRs have any reinforcements on the chassis that aren't on a regular Civic?

they lacked reinforcements, that's why you can't bring them back. DOT / NHTSA do not deem them road safe/worthy.

Oh, I meant wasn't the chassis on the CTR welded differently or reinforced compared to the standard Civic? Performance-wise, not in regard to federal laws.

I give you props for thinking outside the box to bring your car home.

not welded differently, same chassis...just did not have any reinforcements.

update, more pics... interior stripped out, rear suspension is on. also damage on d/s rocker panel cut out...
