Wrong. Building a reliable, built nitrous injected Honda is A LOT cheaper then building a reliable, built turbocharged Honda.btlfedgolf;79345 wrote:not if its done right. A nitrous setup will cost the same if not more. Sure you can buy a bolt on wet kit and run a 75 shot all day, but that is putting a huge risk. Just like a turbo, there are many supporting mods that are recommended or needed to run nitrous correctly.
Nowhere.UMR Racer;79365 wrote:Wheres a good place to buy a turbo for under 1000.
...and a blow-off valve and gauges..:si:.;79371 wrote:closest i have seen is the treadstone kits which are 1899 or something like that..but you still need injectors and engine managment.....
Cancel your account on eBay. Never buy shit from there again.UMR Racer;79378 wrote:Well im an ignorant noob and i bought it off ebay and i have no idea what program it has I would have to have my friend check it. I would say around 200 so then I have a faster car than my brothers GTI VR6.
Never, EVER run a turbocharged car with nothing but an AFC and an FMU. Your just asking for your motor to blow up. Go with a fairly large injector in case you ever want to upgrade. 310-440cc injectors are too small and will leave you with no room to upgrade..:si:.;79379 wrote:well you are gonna need hondata or crome or you can do what turbofreak(nick) and run the vafc lol....but you really dont wanna do that....run like 6 lbs get like 310-440 injectors...
Don't waste your money on Hondata.UMR Racer;79381 wrote:So i get the kit 1850 a blow off valve 150 and hondata 200 and injectors 200 so im looking at 2400 dollars is that about right.
And Dave is also a lot better with Neptune..:si:.;79388 wrote:actually hondata is good...dave is really good at tuning with it from what i hear???
And ftw s100 i have never heard of anyone using that...get s200 or s300 used...

Looks like it has almost everything.
The GReddy kit is junk too.UMR Racer;79432 wrote:So say the turbo it self is not in great condition isn't that a decent price for all the other stuff. That same friend has some spar turbos I could buy from him. What about this Greddy kit

it doesn't have and intercooler but is that necessary with low pressures that I'm looking for
and i could always add the intercooler later because they make an upgrade kit.
An intercooler is ALWAYS necessary on any turbocharged car. Do not turbocharge your car without one.
