after i recovered spent a total of $37, i borrowed my mom's sewing machine if anyone cares i got the vinyl from hancock fabrics for $14 a yard, black upholstery thread and needles for sewing leather. instead of using hog rings i used black zip ties.

the vinyl i got doesnt match exactly but its good enough, i always wondered what it would be like sitting in the back seat of a crx and its actually not that bad it would suck for somone that was 6 foot+ though.

Did you charge the AC with R134a or R12?

And if you need some brackets for the rear seat, there's a guy on crxcommunity.com that had a batch of brackets made that he's selling. Not sure how much he's asking but its worth a shot.

i replaced all the o-rings since the a/c parts came from a system that was working thats all i did. i put the system in a deep vacuum with a 2 stage 3cfm pump and charged it with r134a it took just over two cans.

thanks for the heads up on the brackets, its tempting, im gonna make them myself just cause i like building things. that and i have nothing i dont have the pivots or the brackets that hold them so im gonna have to make both. looking forward to it though :)
