everybody know how individual throttle bodys work? imagine you want the most power you could possibly get out of exactly whats on your car right now, if i had a short ram intake and i took it off and ran just strait throttle body, i would make more power because there is no restriction from a filter or a small tube for my engine to pull air through. aem intakes are no different than going to autozone and getting a tube and throwing it on your motor so stop talking them up. this intake is about 4 and a half inches in diameter, mean when i punch it, there is already alot of air in the tube that my motor is going to suck up, its common sense people, a larger diameter intake will make more power than just a tube. thats why the aem v2 is so nice, which ive had.

id like to bring up a term most of you are oblivious to, JDM.

its what i base the parts desisions on my car off of. i dont like wheels bigger than 16". i dont like non factory colors. i dont like ricers. i hate auto zone and all other parts stores because they provide parts that invented the ricer. i could call out alot of you right now on the ricer term, but i wont because im probably already going to get enough shit for all of this, all i wanted from this thread was to say hello, im actively working on my car. not a whole intake disscusion, if you doubt this intake buy it, youll be sorely mistaken. and it looks good. peace.

thanks, way to prove a point asshole. canister muffler? its tanabe concept G.. and the "decals" are gone, but i suppose them being from japan's domestic market, yes, they are jdm.. you got me on the steelies, what the fuck do you want me to do, im working on the wheel situation, but needing tires and camber kits before them is kind of screwing it all up. do me a favor::SuicidalSmiley:

Speaking purely of aesthetics, I think the new one looks good, at least better that a little metal tube. Just my opinion.

Ahhh, the screaming backlash from a typical Honda owner. I don't care if you flew to Japan yourself to comission a shop to build your exhaust out of titanium, rice and brawn. If it's big and sounds like farts, then why is it any better than your typical autozone special? I had a wheel situation, too. Nobody would fucking buy mine! They might be gone now, but c'mon people, I whored those things out on almost every thread that mentioned wheels and didn't get a single bite.

The suicide comment was cute, though. It reminded me of my old sig.
