now for the personal comments:

I would ditch the rack, and re-do the Volkswagen symbol to make them black it will flow better. IMO which probably doesn't count. You posted up pics so I'm here to post.

also if i read correctly they do have a set of head lights out in the market that have a smoked amber running lights? Not sure tho i don't follow Volkswagen parts nor do i care too.

also an exhaust should be in the works soon? i hope
Thanks. That's probably not a bad idea for the badges. I do plan on shaving them but that's a year or two down the road.

Not that I know of. They make smoked housings which are available on the 04+ GLI's. I'm not really a fan of those anyway. My plan for the lights are Hella E-Codes (OEM European Spec) with integrated fog lamps and headlamp beam levelers.

I'm all over the place with what I want to do with the exhaust. I'm torn between three setups. 42DD 3" Race Downpipe and QTP E-Cutout, 42DD 3" Race Turbo-Back w/o resonators, or a custom 3" setup with a small race muffler that dumps before the rear axle.

Well i have been able to notice the smallest amount of detail that could change the out look on a car. Which is pretty much useless any other time. Also an idea you can steal which will set you apart. If you can take some extra time mask off the edges of the badges and just paint the face. you will get the black face with essence of the shine on the symbol as well.

Like i say i been reading about different set ups blah blah i got a lot of time on my hands. That crappy pancake pipe you Volkswagen guys got. Will this be removed with any of these parts, or is that a part of the charge pipe? Faster the flow moves out the better, but sometimes in the heat of the moment the cut out can be forgotten it happens. so try and build a exhaust that can run with out the cut out as well. just in case a mishap would happen. consider it a fail safe.

Also have read that a few people in the Volkswagen world have had some good luck with the exhaust tear drop effect like some hondas run. Might be an idea as well. We all know that bouncing around several ideas in your head can kind of jumble up,and things start getting misconstrued. So pad and paper is your all time best friend @ this point. If you can find posts of dyno numbers an jot them down. Maybe you can make a better set up for your car. In that being said sometimes you have to take into effect of flow dynamics which you probably know all to well since you have had a boosted car. You know what works, and you know how to go about doing it. Don't get away from the knowledge that you already have. It could help you in the long run.

My car still has the pancake pipe. The engine is pretty much stock. Just little upgrades. I'll eventually get a FMIC. It's a tiptronic so I need to do a 5/6 speed swap first before I do any performance modifications.

r23 swap: awd, six speed, twin turbo'd and i think you would be done for a long time.
ninja edit: nvm to pricey.

god damn close to 3k for auto to manual swap? guess you got to pay to play.

By your post i would say the pancake pipe is charge pipe then. Well there are other forms of inner cooling aspects to look into like top mount, or air to water. Your going to be adding some more pipe to that set up your lag will increase, but it should increase to much.

R32 swap is too much time and money. Which if I had both of those I wouldn't own a Jetta.

The 6 speed swap is $1,600 for all OEM parts.

No point in doing a top mount (which would be a downgrade) or air to water. I just want 350whp. I'm not setting land speed records.

You don't know what you're talking about. You're not very smart, and the things you're saying are nonsense. And I'm not angry. But you do need to shut up.

I work 7:30 to 7:30 tommorow and 1 to 7 Thursday and Friday. I believe I have Monday off this coming week if you're free that day.

I also completely closed up the wheel gap tonight. It's not low, but looks much better.

Looks great Raab... I still think we need some "Low 4dr" group shots, especially before Amy sells the FODO
I'm still a neighborhood ASSHOLE!
