Nice job man. You should check with the art store to see what people use to paint clay. I used to sculpt clay, and put in the oven a 500 degrees to cure the sculptures I had. I forgot the paint I used but I am sure a serious Art Store would be able to tell you. You will be able to lay it on as thick or thin as you want and the heat will not destroy it.
Good job...got me wanting to do this to make some extra cash on the side......

Yea I was wondering about that when I was looking for paint, because I took a few ceramics courses in highschool. Im not sure how it would hold up on metal and the glazes are SUPER expensive.

i took ceramics when i went to high school. the glazes we used had to be put on just right. too thin or too thick would cause dry looking spots or runs, and with as much detail work that the wave painting needs. it would seem like more of a hassle to me.adio3x;121945 wrote:Yea I was wondering about that when I was looking for paint, because I took a few ceramics courses in highschool. agreed. I remember my teacher saying the less the better. Also with the glazes the true color doesnt come out til like 4 thousand degrees lol.v-tecivic;122007 wrote:i took ceramics when i went to high school. the glazes we used had to be put on just right. too thin or too thick would cause dry looking spots or runs, and with as much detail work that the wave painting needs. it would seem like more of a hassle to me.
