I finally got the car drivable tonight. I had an issue with the brakes not working properly once I got all the other issues from my previous post fixed. Turned out to be a leaking Brake Master Cylinder that I didn't find until test driving it three times. Since I'm currently using the CX brakes, I took off the 15/16" MC and put the old 13/16" MC back on. After bench bleeding the MC and the brakes yet again, I finally got them to work properly.

I took the car out for a test drive tonight. I put 60 miles on it and it's still running great. No fluid leaks. For those who don't know, I'm using the D16Y8 Eagle/Vitara Block and a stock D16Y7 head. I actually surprised that there doesn't seem to be much of a loss power-wise considering this combo gives me a CR of 7.61:1.

I still have some little things to fix on the car. C/V Boots, stock exhaust, reinstall windshield wipers, etc. Once those are fixed, I'll be upgrading suspension and wheels. Then some boost will come soon after that.

Good stuff Rob... might shoot Rick a PM, think he has a nice intake manifold that would help your project.

Glad to hear it's going. Looking forward to seeing your choice in wheels.

Nice Rob, are you going to boost the single cam or build a dual cam?

Boosting the single cam for now. I still have a B18C1 that I need to finish which will eventually go in.
