and i understand what you mean when you say you dont care what color they are. im the same way. function over looks. anyone that has seen my car will say hundreds of things i could do to make it look better, but i dont care about looks. the first time most people saw my car, it was black, grey, metal, duct tape, red, white, and a ton of rust.

they're forged aluminum, and i only payed $30 for them

and maybe they won't make much of a difference on a street car, but if it can't hurt, it helps

if you weren't allowed to put race parts on a street car, we'd all be driving around stock wouldn't we

I'm sorry but what does the "race parts" pertain with the aluminum lugnuts? They lug nuts are so close to the center of the wheel I gaurantee that you will feel no difference......if you do, its in your head. You would probably gain more with removing the weight of the stickers on your car than you do with the lugnuts.

I'm sorry for the rant but this is the exact kind of statement that got you a lot of BS from stlsr. Until you have a car that can back up "race parts" I would not use the words "race parts / race car / fast / etc.".

Shoot, and I felt queer for having blue valve stem caps, and they match my car! I wish someone would steal them. Happen to have extended studs with them lugnuts?
