ok so they have made progress, either better turbos more efficient IC etc, was that soo hard? so far ive gotten what ive expected from you, name calling and telling me to kill myself.. classy lol and i come off as the idiot and tool............
Ryan, I have no need to argue with you... I drive a Civic for my project and you drive a Supra for your project. We both suck no matter how much we argue, at least I'm not a curly haired queer.

As for the progress I was mentioning over some on here CURRENTLY rather than the C9 team of the past... like I mentioned before, C9 used mostly "D" series, and many have gone to "B" series. The "B" series VTEC motors have around the same amount of power, not torque, that a turbo'd "D" series has with roughly 9 psi...

So a GSR with 9 psi and a good setup makes roughly 280+ whp and 200+ ft/lbs... and it would EASILY make that if not PLENTY more.

If I recall, I believe there is an ALL MOTOR civic on here that runs close to those trap speeds...
I'm still a neighborhood ASSHOLE!

I will argue that it shouldn't matter that it hasn't been done as much in st. louis......it is possible, it just doesn't happen often.

My stock ls ran high 11s with a stock motor.....thats not even that fast. People with stock motors have gone deep 10s....maybe even high 9s. Does it happen every day? No. But 11s and 12s are easy with a "bolt-on" setup.....it just doesn't happen much around here, no easier explanation.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.
Hope this helps

you beat me once.... out of how many times weve raced? and ive run a faster time and trap.... lol whats up rickles long time no play...

and she wishes i had fucked her, mostly just groping and one hell of a good story, seriously you should have been there.

5th gen thanks for the post, atleast YOU get what i was saying and responded with an intelligent and informative post. thank you

as far as em1 guy, no i dont know everything but i know more than you, you dont have to like it or even admit it but deep down you me and everyone else knows its true. However if youd like we can just settle this with a quick race(and trust me it would be quick)

So it brings up a new question, ive seen what rickles/stolle have done with thier D series, which is the better platform to build a turbo car?(D,B,H,LS series) i was always under the impression that the non-vtec motors were better suited for boost.

GSR's can produce some decent numbers stock.

Those are the ones i could remember and popped into my head
And like 5thgen said it doesn't happen much. And it seems a lot of people are too scared to actually push their stock motors. As for the St. Louis area not much happens period with imports.
