Well it will b a year in May but, i git hit by a car on my bike and it ripped my middle finger off at the top joint and it was hanging in my glove.. i dont have any pics of it it also broke the middle bone both ways (up & down and sideways) after a couple surgeries and a lot of rehab it is back on but, it doesnt straghn out stays at like a 45 degree angle....

That would be horrible if you lost your middle finger.
