sounds like the dpfi to mpfi wiring is f'd up somewhere. you have to add a couple wires for injectors in that conversion, so check that area of your swap. both at the ecu and underhood....could be as simple as a broken wire/bad connection to injector #1.

since injector 4 fires at the same time injector 1 does i spliced 1 onto 4
