Sweet setup. i bet noone who buys the tickets realize that he has to sell 5k of them before he actually pulls. and as long as he says someone won it, or even just gets your money and you walk away . he never has to give it away just say someone else wonit. and pockets the money. if it were a legit raffle i'd def buy a few tickets. if anything you strip the paint down repaint a simple color or just sell it as is to someone def worth the $10 tickets. i wouln't drive it though, cept home and hide it in the garage. looked stock to me. and would make sense. with a 75 shot of NOS woul dmake about 240 from a stock si.

BS though for sure he can get away with that kinda crap. Brillant fundrasior though, u figure not more than 5k into it for decals/nos + the car. i bet if he sold just 2000 tickets he woul dmake profit on it. let alone 5000 tickets.

well just to throw out one more comment... I am sure the guy IS going to give the car away to someone (have faith that people still do good in this world) who is lucky enough to win, and this does benfit the childers network hospital (Not sure on how much), but it does leave a lot of questions as to how easy it COULD be to scam some one for something like that...

Well do we know where this car/guy are now? if its close to me ill stop by and check it out and get more info as to legitmacy, how much is donated, if he really needs to sell a min of 5k tickets. cuz i'd really like to toss some of my dollars in there to help the children an dmaybe win

The min. amount of tickets that has to be sold is only 3,000 and the winner can opt to take a 14K payout instead of the car. If 3,000 tickets are sold by 10/31/2010 that is the day the drawing will be held otherwise it will be pushed back untill they sell 3,000 tickets.

yep that is franks car from show world and just like tommy and a few others said he one that car from super street mag around 2000 or 2001 and the only thing he has done was changed the grafix on the rear of it i rember it from when i whent to my first car show hear and he kept telling people he put it to gether then got pissed when me and a few others called bs on him
