i read bout this guy on speed hunters...i think the wheels are like actual gold and it got rolled and the frame was damaged and he jus keep butchering it back together

I loved that car, and the story behind it.

But i really felt there wasn't much more he could do besides little changes, plus he had the car stripped down before the fire.

Gold plated, yes.

He welded some bracing to the frame to bring it back to life

I loved it too, great build. I did notice it was stripped down before the fire so that's a plus.

well to be honest looks like with some work that car could be up and running again. I mean don't get me wrong it is a lot of work but compared to everything else he has done to that car its nothing.

great inspiring build.. makes me complete in my decision to keep my car til i die, not til it does lol cuz as he showed 500k+ miles didn't stop it, grinding down the frame on the road didn't... fire only slowed him down

Oh holy hell... I can't wait to see it finished again for the "whatever" time.

I like how he kept repeating "Fire kills a car... but not this one" and "if you know Rusty, he's stubborn...". I like how he writes that his car is his best friend and that they talk and hang out everyday like a married couple! Awesome.
