Yep on the e85 for sure although his name says it all already.
I have been contemplating switching at some point in the future, still a little concerned with the consistancy of it but thats easy to check. Though I have not seen many people locally running it talking about having much issue so far. The other drawback for me being having to upgrade to an even bigger fuel setup than I already have now.
Did you guys check/ test the e85 you put in just to see where its at for mix ratio? Just curious.

I am redoing Some of my fuel system I'm goin to a 044 pump but, the hole consistancy of the e85 is keeping me from goin to it.

It is very easy to do if he wants to verify the consistancy. All you need is a graduated cylinder marked with mL measurements and some water.
Fill the graduated cyl. with 100mL of sample fuel to test, add 10mL of water. Put a stopper in it and then shake it for about 30 seconds - 1 minute. Then let it set for a couple minutes and settle out.
The water will mix with the alcohol in the fuel and seperate out from the gasoline at the bottom of the cyl. Referencing the mL measures on the cyl. verify how many mL approximately you have of each, the gasoline and the water/ alcohol mix. Subract the 10mL of water you added from the mL of alcohol measured. The 2 measures your left with, equaling 100mL, tell you the percentage of each the gas and the alcohol to easily verify the mix ratio.

not to mention, how many E85 stations we have down here. The closest one I know if is in Benton. Not really feeling driving 15 miles everytime I need fuel.96civic cr-v;235565 wrote:I am redoing Some of my fuel system I'm goin to a 044 pump but, the hole consistancy of the e85 is keeping me from goin to it.
