Broken valve spring for the lose!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well Brian at skunk 2 is sending Cale a new set of Valve springs, so anyone wanna buy a brand new set of Skunk 2 valve springs that havn't been used for $200 firm.
Cale is purchaseing a new set of dual springs soon. Also more head work is coming with it, along with that new bottom end so the winter project has begun now.
As for over tightening them the valve lash is factory specs the only thing we did was snug them all on there compression stroke which stock is like .008 intake and .010 exhaust and we was at like .007 intake and .009 exhaust and it helped but only ran the car for like 3 minutes then put it back to the stock valve lash.
But the car as stated is down so oh well shit happens as N2hifi said.

but to answer his question...
because titanium is not stronger than steel. yes its lighter and titanium valve train parts should not be used in a daily driver. the titanium parts should be constantly checked over really good every now and then and also replaced after a certain amount of miles.....or something like this can happen.runsonrice;68210 wrote:How the hell do you break a titanium valve spring with my mild n/a setup?
