I'm the 3rd owner and the previous one who I know VERY well, didn't take too much care for it when he got it... I know Honda engines can last for much more than that, but I'd rather be prepared for the uncoming months / years.

Thank youkleancut;219778 wrote:wow i was gona expect huuugge as props.
you get em from me! loooove the legend with the lex wheels and swap. seems perfect `
I didn't do it *all* by myself, my friend Alex came down from Chicago once I was done with the motor build and he helped me wth the pull/swap/drop. I probably wouldn't have had it done before IA without the help!99BlackHatch;219781 wrote:Awesome. I remember talking to you about the engine swap and how you did it yourself, I've been thinking about how difficult that swap must be and if it would be worth doing it in the RL... I only ask since I know the C35 with 233,XXX won't hold up much longer.
Do you have and build pics of doing the swap and everything?
As for AutoX, that's badass.
As for doing it in your RL, the motor in my car came from a 2003 RL with 53k on it, so this swap in yours would be simple. On the Legend we have to get the passenger side bracket custom fabbed to include the lower half of the legend mount and upper half of the RL mount and swap over parts from the Legend motor and use the passenger side valve cover from the Legend. The only difference between yours and mine, I put in Type II cams and a Type II intake mani.
Here is the link to my build thread.
This car surprises a lot of people at autox. They expect it to handle like shit and have body roll like you wouldn't believe. She's been modded well enough that she's planted firm and kicks some ass. I've taken first in my class many times.636SpecMan;219783 wrote:what does holding its own mean? with one picture its a little hard to tell if its holding its own.
Thanks! I got the tailpipe out of Thailand. They come up on ebay once in a while but are kind of hard to find. I wasn't going to put it on the car when I bought it but changed my mind.getteg;219787 wrote:HAHA...nice tailpipe. Did you fab that yourself or is there actually a company that makes those?
Also lovin the rides, and AutoX FTMFW!
O, and welcome as well.
Matt aka sr5guy is one of the members on acuralegend.org. He has a shop in CT and offers chipping services. I can pm you his info if you need it.02Type-S;219802 wrote:Who is the guy that chipped the 95?

Right now Matt has been unable to modify the fuel map because the Legend ecu runs in a closed loop. He's been trying to locate an ecu out of Venezuela because it runs in an open loop and he would be able to play with the fuel maps. So as of right now it's purely about power.99BlackHatch;219835 wrote:So what kind of tuning do you do with the V6's?
