Did brakes today. Ordered the Raybestos stuff from Rock-Auto. Love that damn place. Forgot to take a picture of the old stuff, but it was junk.

When going from blank rotors to drilled/slotted rotors without upgrading rotor size, you're actually decreasing the brake performance. The material that was removed for the holes and slots may keep the brakes a bit cooler by expelling gases and dust. But you removed friction material which is what the brakes actually use to stop the car. Drilled/slotted rotors can be advantageous on a track car when upgrading rotor size. But on a street car with stock brakes, it's silly.

Welp, got me something to do this weekend:

Eibach 17MM rear bar. Got a killer deal from my buddy Trost. Thanks dude!! Even has all the hardware, so it will be a totally painless install. Will probably put this on Thursday night.

Also, ordered a new gauge cluster today. Should be here Thurs-Fri.

So, got some stuff done, and didnt do some things.

Got my remote start installed, yay!! The EM1 cluster I ordered showed up at my work today, but I took today off. Also, picked up a OEM front strut bar. I did not get around to installing the rear swaybar, but hopefully I'll do that this weekend along with the cluster. I'll have to order the studs for the front strut bar, so maybe next week that will go on.

Thanks to N2HIFI for taking time out of his hectic day to install my stuff.
