Just an idea floating in my head wanted some opinions

why have you never seen an 850whp honda? Its totally do-able.

So basically the goal is to have a track-only drag car that will break into the low 9's high 8's.

Heres the general parts and procedures that i've come up with for the k24 build:

Custom axles capable of withstanding 900hp
5-Lug conversion
K24a4 block
K24a2 head
k20a2 tranny
custom gears and synchros
custom fabbed clutch (to hold the powah)
10lb flywheel
fuel cell
misc vaccume fittings
9.0:1 forged crower pistons
forged rods
possibly a stoker kit from crower?
shave 2lbs off the crank shaft
AEM EMS
GT42 turbo
Custom Fabbed Full-Race Intake Manifold
80mm TB
Full-Race Turbo manifold
4" exhaust dumping behind the front wheels
ARP Head Bolts
Greddy Timing Belt
Tial Wastegate
3" I/c Piping
12" Oil Cooler
Transmission Cooler
Koyo Radiator
100 shot Direct-Port Nitrous
12"x3x30" FMIC 3" offset inlet/outlet
Drag Coilovers
14 pt Rollcage
Emergency power shut off switch
Red Sparco seat (red For the Win!)
Parachute set-up
One piece fiberglass front end
Weelie bars
Lexan Windows,
Carbon Fiber Doors
C/F Trunk

with a 850 HP honda, i sure as hell would not go with a manual, get an auto and make it run right.

lol thats funny, i wonder how oversized the valves are in that thing. i dunno if that'd be the cheapest b/c EVERYTHING would be custom fabbed... but really i guess everything that i'm doing is going to be custom fabbed. lol. Oh btw this will be track-only for professional drag racing competitions. Gotta get my name out there some how. And yes i have been considering a custom 2-speed drag racing tranny instead of a manual set-up. I'm just looking into pricing on that. I really dont want to dump more than $30k into this car if i dont have to.
