Your hostility is not appreciated here.

If it's swollen *red,* put ice on it. I've never heard of a lymph node under your jaw right there, but if it is, antibiotics will clear it up. It also could be from a spider who laid eggs under your skin (dead serious). If it becomes unbearable, then go to the hospital and have someone look at it.

Or, it could be a giant zit, we all know you don't shower.

Lol at my hostility ANYWAYS its not a zit it isnt even on the skin its underneath. But hopefully I will get my anser on monday if it hasnt gone away by then.

Most likely its a lymph node. Where is the bump exactly? Under the chin is pretty vague. The main/big lymph nodes in your neck are located on the sides under your mandible (lower jaw bone). Kinda directly below your ears. Are both swollen or just one. Have you been sick, had a cold, or sinus infection lately? You have many lymph nodes in your neck, so odds are, its one of those since the purpose of your lymph system is to carry away unwanted material out of your body. Unwanted material are things like blood from something being swollen or a bruise, WBCs carrying infection, unwanted fluid build up, etc. Here is a pic of the nodes in your neck.

Its actually RIGHT underneath the chin only in one spot not really on the neck part, directly in the center. Here I circled it, and its showing one there so hopefully its just that.

It could be the lymph node. Doesn't hurt to see the doc though just in-case its not. Especially if it doesn't go down.

I ahd one before and it felt like a rock at the bottom of my throat but I went and got meds for it like 4 days after i got it.

i've also had this before....didn't find out what it was.

It hurt with pressure though, and I just waited it out til it went away (maybe not always the best idea....but oh well).
