as i read an article in a popular import mag(dont remember which one) they interviewed a tuner that came over from japan, he didnt knock on japanese companies (spoon, top secret, etc.....) but he stated the some of the tuners that we have here stateside are actually better than thos such as top secret, he works for comptech, and he said that AMS tuning is probably one of the best tuners in the world. im not trying to deter you from buying spoon products, but just remember that we also have tuners here that are just as capable.

What? so i should go and buy a dc sport header and aem short ram and put some american racing wheels on my car. ya that will get me into honda tuning. i not looking for power at all im looking to make a nice clean looking ek hatch. and the spoon engines are brand new so ya i know how meny miles ore on there. (do you)

wow, i never said ANYTHING about american parts, i said something about american TUNERS! the main point that i got from the interview was the guy saying that japanese tuners are overrated, and that we have plenty of good tuners here. how meny miles are on them?? you could build something a lot more satisfying for 6k, fully built, balanced, and tuned for 6k, EASY! just my .02

so you are willing to spend 6k on a basically STOCK motor that is "optimized"?? oh, i almost forgot, and a yellow valve cover. i would double think that before i did it, but if you have 6k to spend on an "optimized" stock motor, go for it.

HEY CHIEF, SPOON VALVE COVERS ARE YELLOW!!!!!!!!! EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM! TYPE R COVERS ARE RED! SPOON=YELLOW, how are you going to spend 6k on a motor and not know which one you are getting. if it didnt come with a yellow valve cover, it isnt worth it.
