no dick measuring contest intended, but anyone can paint a car to look like it has never been painted i.e. blending and taking there time masking up panels so there are no hard lines. but i have seen people take laquer thinner to quality european paint lines (examples standox, sikkens etc) painted panels to wipe off debris. and if you dont believe me thats fine didnt mean to make this an argument, and it is stupid to argue over the net.

Most of the time wether is a quality paint job or not I can usually tell its been repainted blended or what not, but I guess thats just me. And looking at his car it didnt appear to be repainted on the sides where the pin stripe was.06sik20z3;8147 wrote:no dick measuring contest intended, but anyone can paint a car to look like it has never been painted i.e. blending and taking there time masking up panels so there are no hard lines. but i have seen people take laquer thinner to quality european paint lines (examples standox, sikkens etc) painted panels to wipe off debris. and if you dont believe me thats fine didnt mean to make this an argument, and it is stupid to argue over the net.
I have also seen people take thinner to those paint lines and messed the paint up big time. OEM is much more durable than anything out there so thats why it can withstand the little bit of laquer on it.
