you can quote "Can" get by with everything put together as long as you dont see boost it just takes a lot of self dicipline
turbo lag psh? boost is only a down shift away

If it's internally gated just disconnect the actuator to prevent spool. If you have an external wastegate, remove the spring. You can leave all the charge piping hooked up as you won't be building any boost.
I don't get how you can build an engine for a turbo and not understand how this works.

yeah, im just gonna park it and order some 450 dsm injectors, i have a hondata s300 p28 with obd0 to obd1 jumper harness but im not 100% correct on how to install it or the injectors sopmething about deleting the resistor box but i dont wanna mess with wiring ive had bad luck in the past, anyone have a tune or something similar to my setup and i could just upload that onto the ecu and be able to drive my car safely am i right? correct me if im wrong and what all do i need to do when im converting from obd0 to obd1? and i really appreciate everyones help seriously its finally nice to actually see shit going somewhere with my car

Since your car uses low impedance injectors from the factory (Same as the DSM 450's), you do not need to make any modifications to use them. With proper tuning, they are plug and play on your car.91blkrex;262630 wrote:yeah, im just gonna park it and order some 450 dsm injectors, i have a hondata s300 p28 with obd0 to obd1 jumper harness but im not 100% correct on how to install it or the injectors sopmething about deleting the resistor box but i dont wanna mess with wiring ive had bad luck in the past, anyone have a tune or something similar to my setup and i could just upload that onto the ecu and be able to drive my car safely am i right? correct me if im wrong and what all do i need to do when im converting from obd0 to obd1? and i really appreciate everyones help seriously its finally nice to actually see shit going somewhere with my car
Don't bother putting a basemap or someone else's tune on your car to drive it. Let your tuner deal with that.
To convert to OBD1, you need...
- OBD0 to OBD1 ECU Conversion Harness
- OBD1 ECU
- OBD1 Distributor
- 4-Wire O2 Sensor
I suggest using the RyWire conversion harness and OEM distributor and O2 sensor as they're all quality parts and very easy to install.

i don't have much experience with turboed civic, aside form my d15b7 dc2 in fl, and a couple years ago, i had a 94 stock ex with over 200k miles, it was bone stock with a ebay t3/t04 kit on 8lbs, it ran fine while i had it, and it saw boost often, drove it a ouple times to chicago, and ended up trading it in nashville tn, on my way to fl. 223k miles when i traded it, never any problem, but that was my experience.
