I think Honda had those covers for a reason...5thgen;63987 wrote:I have ngk blues from a z6/y8 on my b18b. They will fit fine, the only thing is that they will not seal solid at the top....which isn't an issue really.
LS stems are a tad shorter than the sohc.

quick question
Maybe they did....maybe they are on there so water / liquid won't fill it up to the top....who knows. If you are getting debris down there, I would say you have a different problem to take care of. The question asked was if the plug wires would work.....they do.SilverStreak;64033 wrote:I think Honda had those covers for a reason...
Honda also never put the b18b in a civic...you could go all day with "honda did it for a reason"....

quick question
Well, I like to keep a clean engine bay, so I use the proper plug wires so that water doesn't touch the spark plugs. So, the wires might work. So would a 8 gauge piece of wire soldiered to the spark plug and the distributor cap. That doesn't mean its the right plug wire. Why are people always wanting to cheap out on parts. NGK plug wires for a B18B1 are $37.75 straight from the manufacture. If you can't afford that, I would say you have a different problem to take care of...
