well you got the nut loose, so loosen the lugs and then jack it up and take the tire off. Alot of people take apart the assembly to pull the half shaft out, but usually if you get lucky you can sorta just turn the wheel and get it out. Honestly its hard to walk ya through it on a computer, wish I had a phone but were redoing the house right now and have no phone.

Maybe this will help ya....

you gotta seperate the lower balljoint... there is a cotter pin and a castle nut on the very bottom of the hub assembly you need to undo, then you gotta get in with a balljoint seperater to get the balljoint out of the lower control arm.

yea thats what I was trying to figure out.. that link is perfect.. so basically just the lower control arm and slide it out.. So no special tools are required and the axle will come out pretty easy right?

it can be done with screwdrivers apparently, but just go to autozone or any parts store and ask for a balljoint seperator, its a little 2 prong fork looking thing(you'll want a small one), just use that and a hammer

yea I got it I took the brakes off then used a jack on the hub and it lifted and swung out of the way.. so that worked out pretty good.. now I am having trouble getting the inner part of the axle out. I got it free from the hub but havent got it from the transmission side yet, any suggestions??.. do you think I should lube the new axle splins?? sorry for all the questions I am just happy I am getting this thing done..

a pry bar or flat head should help you pop the axle from the tranny. just pry a little on all sides, not just one.

nah you aint gonna hurt the tranny unless you pry really hard against the houseing. just go from above with a pry bar and pull on the shaft as your doing it and it will pop out. Some tranny fluid will leak out but nothing major so don't freak out when some comes out, just get the new axle in and it's best to drains then refill the tranny to its max level.
