I'm running 205's on 15x7 Maglites with zero problems
04 Subaru WRX Sport Wagon
95 GMC Suburban (Honda hauler)
94 Del Sol vtec (some boost is better than no boost)
91 Chevy S-10 V-8 (toy, soon to be gone though)
87 Honda 250R (as close to a Type R as I will get)

I thought 205 was teh winner, but it looks like a goddamn tie right now
Oh, I think I'm going with the BFGoodrich g-force sports.
and rick IIRC, you are running larger sidewalls than 50series, maybe that was your clearance issue. :dunno:
This post comes with a guarantee: I guarantee that I don't care what you think about it.

im running the bfgoodrich g-force sports and loving them. go to tirerack.com and pull up the page for the size you want and print out a page that has the prices. the go up the the ntb in st charles in front of the walmart off of zumbehl. they stock them sometimes and if they dont have them in stock, they will order them and you wont have to pay for shipping. and if you take the printout with you, they will pricematch tireracks price. believe its like $65 or so for each tire that way.
