We would really like you to race... these will be cars that you would meet on the highway or interstate... I will be doing the judging on what goes...
tubed front ends do not equate to tube chasis. also you missed the whole point i was getting at so just leave what i said alone.

also, you might want to put it in the rules that you cannot have a tube chasis cause in the first post where it lists the rules it does not say anything about not having a tube chasis.

I understand what you meant exactly... and Cook please change it to say no tube front ends..

But rickles what i am trying to say is if we want sport compacts to have a place to run here we have to have people to show up and race...

i have been a sponsor of the king of streets in benton and it is unbelievable that they have a sport compact class for power adders and no power adders and you wont believe the sport compacts that come to that track and just sit and test instead paying alittle extra money to race in the event... because they feel they arent fast enough..

Like i said we would love to have you done there... and if you see one tube front end... let me know and i will take car of it... these will be street compact cars...

fwd, rwd, and awd..

and i know the import face off is soon at kc... but not everyone can compete in those classes... trying to get more down to a everyday wrencher...

Cook please change the title to say

Sport Compact Shootout Sikeston, MO Sept. 26th..

It is an 1/8th mile track... everyone has the chance to win...
what? there is a class for any car and setup. FWD + 1/8th mile = no thanks.

rickles8099;195516 wrote:the biggest factor of me not running at things like import faceoff is because i cannot afford all out drag car with stuff like multiple power adders, tubed front ends, etc. and in your rules it basically states that anything goes as long as its classified as a sport compact car. doesnt sound like a "down to a everyday wrencher" type field if you ask me.

and dont throw the must be a licesed vehicle card cause i know just as well as anyone else knows there are ways to get tags on a car that wont really pass.

done.

huh? there is a class for everyone like i said. from stock slow to fast.

i will be running in this event and i'm for from being fast. i drive a heavy 4dr grocery getter. its all about having fun and racing.

its kinda like street racing just with a .5 pro tree. run watcha brung and hope its enough. is the way i see it.

we have any where from 8.6x's to 7.4x's around here. don't know what everybody is scared of. i'm sure there might be a few faster cars show up but you will never know unless you show up.

donnie/cook- need to fix the rules either awd or rwd allowed or not. it says no at the begining then yes in the rules.

also the unlimited street/true 10.5 and drag radial class will be there.
