from FJ ...... LOL...they are custom length to bring the piston to the top of the cylinder instead of 5mm or so below it. bumps compression from 6.5:1 to 8.5:1 ~~

yes theyre 75.5mm...obviously because i said i had the block bored.

Just funny how you changed your mind.

They've made over sized Vitara pistons for a while now, even back in '07. And there's been ways to bump the compression back up to a usable 8.66:1 without custom rods since forever.

The custom length FJ's bump compression from 7.56:1 to 8.48:1 in a stock Z6.

turbo is the same as mine. precision .60/.63... he is still looking for a manifold, along with s300 and a few other things...

may start notching the block and girdle tonight..thats the shittiest part of building a D.

I never get to have any fun. LOL

Looks like a great build. I may disagree with you MidMo guys, but that doesn't change the fact that some of you guys have nice builds.

the engine is in and running great! probably the quietest vitara build in the world lol. probably because it was all done right with the correct piston to wall and pistons facing the correct way. now its ready for some big boost once he finishes gathering parts..

video of the very first start up..
