I wouldn't call the P2 a production car since it was never made. And to my knowledge, every production turbocharged car has a bypass valve. They're there for a reason (See previous post).

I agree they are there for a reason however there's more than one way to skin a cat, so to speak, and there's nothing wrong with running a closed system if you understand what you are doing and have the turbo to support it. Or in the OP's case have a cheap turbo that isn't going to be on the car for too long and just wanna hear a little surge / wastegate flutter.

Well shit, why didn't ya just say so? LOL. I could def hear some surge/wastegate flutter. What was going on with the BOV to cause so much flutter?

It would just do that when i start to roll into it, and then back the throttle off about half way once around 5psi. Thats the only time that it would do that.
