Were you snorting coke when you decided to do that?!
Here's my take on it & the rest of the car. I'm constantly thinking of what to do outside the box, this color reminded me of something I'd see on an ag/industrial/implement motor. So I got to thinking how they look like they're painted the same color from head to toe, except maybe a little bit more than normal on my motor, but not full on one color. Catch my drift? Something different...

I could be the same as every other trend following car guru out there, but that's not me. That's why I roll busted, janky hondas with goofy ideas sometimes. I use zipties because I straight up don't care, not because it's what hipsters do. You can paint a car just as good as the last one, having nothing but flawless perfection each round......you can also hit it with a hammer 1,000 different times & have a different dent every time. I also like to think my projects have a lot more character than some.

I'm not hood because it's somewhat of a trend, I've been hood. Nice cars are over rated lol. Just my take on it :)

Thanks for the compliments guys!!!!!!

when I saw the manifold it made me think of big tractor motors and how everything is painted. Manifolds, fuel lines, turbo, block, head the whole thing is the same color

Same here. Now i think about the old machine shop i used to work in... All the Drill presses and heavy machinery were all like this. I see where you were coming from... but i still think you had some crack rock in you.
I'm still a neighborhood ASSHOLE!

Well I decided to repaint this thing, sanding & prepping when I can. If all goes as planned, it should be done this coming Friday. I'm going with a color scheme that will look something like this, because Neopolitan is awesome.

Holes filled, in the process of shaving the side moldings, primered the bare metal spots.

There are a couple cracks I have to fix, the whole front end is pretty haggard.
