Yep, the 2.Slow, it's generally said you have to be dedicated to be a VW owner, due to the quirks. Less so now, but nothing compared to a Honda. I had a first gen Integra I really really drove the urine out of for every one of it's 160k miles and it still ran like a champ when I got rid of it.
