Well after tinkering around and some cleaning here and there i decided to get some more snaps:

found this in the trunk with some other BONUS parts the previous owner picked up at the scrap yard :

Hope you like! I will start a build thred as soon as i start getting parts. Anyone have anything good laying around? im looking for the following:
rear windshied wiper delete
nice shift knob (not a walmart one)
short shifter
cat back exhaust

Also i might add i got really lucky finding this little gem. Keep watching craigslist and the newspaper kids. These unmolested cars are out there!

no way! man he was giving me a run for my money...i had to phone in extra funds lol.

i was mostly expecting to find some neglected crappy crx...and i walk up to find this. I was scared that someone who didnt know anything about these cars was gonna get it and put a crappy body kit or a wing.I felt it was my job to save it;) Tell your dad its in good hands and will be tastfully modded.

Also if i ever see you guys out and about, beers on me?

ya, i got home from work and he was pissed. Hes like i dont even want to talk about it. He wanted to fix it up, keep it stock, and have it as a toy. But oh well

Makes me miss the crx my family used to have! Bought it brand new from bommarito honda (think its now a cadi dealer)

well i hooked up the radio today. sounds ok but its a crappy crappy kenwood unit circa 1993. I also did some snooping and found a nice older component set made by boston accoustics; Im pretty sure they are prolly 1993 quality as well but they look ok. I think they will sound much better on a pioneer or alpine head unit though. That kenwood is OLD SCHOOL FOR A CD PLAYER! it also has absoloutely NO anti skip.

Well untill i get plates i cant take her to far so i decided to get a few snaps since shes a little cleaner now. i cant wait to wax this baby. Any recomendations for older paint finishes that are a bit faded?

and my only problem with the interior is that e-brake handle. how do i take off the stock one? and would a newer civic fit it? looking for a black one.. if i can get this one off in one piece im gonna dye it i think.

and i still got alot more cleaning to do:

are those triangle pieces plastic or glass? i wanna get those stickers off but im afraid of scratching that piece.

anyway..im gonna go get trashed a fuck a hooker now.

The ebrake handle just slides straight off the end... twist and pull. The faded paint is likely never going to look good again. That era of Honda red is notorious. Someone prove me wrong with before/after pics...
