sorry, missed that.

yea techincally my old pocketbike required a endorsement but i drove it around on the street in traffic (kinda scarey) no problem...except getting pulled over a few times lol..i had to school the officers on motorized bicycle laws lol..they had to let me go because they didnt know the laws but they still said "there isnt no way that thing is legal to ride on the road!" then couple days later they pull me over and ticket me for not using hand signal when turning, haha god those were good times!

I accidentally stumbled across the illinois statues regarding motorcycle endorsements last night. It seems any motorized cycle up to 150cc requires a Class L, 150cc+ is a Class M. EVERYONE around here seems to think if it's under 50cc, it's legal. I have a friend who's parents have two rucks and we probably put a good 200mi on them last summer and never got pulled over. I'm going to head up to the DMV tomorrow (illegally, on my ruck) to see if I can't get a Class L license.

After I open up the intake, plus my exhaust, I'm going to be attracting some attention. I figure I'll get pulled over sooner or later and playing dumb doesn't work 9 out of 10 times.

Got some parts in today. 3 K&N filters, Polini variator, Blue clutch springs, NCY lowered seat frame. Got everything installed tonight except for the variator. There's supposed to be 2 holes in the outer face of the variator that you can get some 10mm bolts into to get leverage and keep it from turning while you loosen it but my stock variator doesn't have these holes.

Got the lowered seat frame on before work, sittin next to my supervisors silverwing:

Got off work at 1AM and decided that was a good time to do the intake:

The intake is made out of 1 1/4 inch 90 degree sink tubing and a 1 1/4" coupler with the K&N main filter.

Oh, and I REALLY need a camera.

Got the polini variator in today, much quicker accel and 44-46mph top end instead of 41. Caught up with a couple people I went to school with who were out on their zuma 50's. One was derestricted and the other was 100% stock. Completely lost the stock one and hung with the derestricted one up to about 40 then I pulled away from him. Good to know that my mods did a bit of good cause I'm pretty sure a derestricted zuma is faster than a stock ruck. Anyways, on with the pics:
