engine bay looks clean as fuck...but the engine on the other hand looks like its been sitting in dirt for a while. just saying.

ummm nice looking car... people arnt hatting ... there just giving there opinion ... and take what they say lightly cause most people on this site have been where you are or are there now so ... good luck with the car....

and i agree you should have cleaned the motor before putting it in ... the engine bay was beautifull before you put it in ./.. then again like you said its a "beater" that was thrown to gether... this is not your dd... so you prolly dont care... agin good luck with this project

There's lots of good autocross action around Champaign. Looks like you've got a fun track toy there.

im currently in the kansas city metro... theres two autoX groups.. a road course that should have phase1 complete in spring/summer 09. and theres a few road courses within a 2-3hr drive..

stl isnt so far of a drive either to go autoX..

so why would you do all that work (brake line tuck/shaved bay/ wire tuck) to make a time attack car out of it ? doen't have of those mods make the car not legal for certian classes.

and as far as the motor you should be WAY more then 120 to the wheels , robs autotragig y8 made alomost that and it was stock and my stock y8 with a cam made that also

but back tot he work done on the car .. looks awesome just need to finish the work but it's a great start

yeah im sure the brake lines make it non legal in certain classes.. havent really stuck my head in a rule book yet...

the reason why i did the brake tuck and wire tuck.. is just to do it.. apparently theres a brakeline wire tuck fad going on..

the harness that came with the car was wire tucked.. and the car was in millions of pieces when i got it..

sure i could have put it all back to stock..
but i just did it to do it cause i can.. LOL

i did a rhd conversion on an eg sedan.. 4 years ago.
